"Штрафбат" 2004 (Russian) (Shtrafbat = Penal Battalion) A 14 part Russian tv mini series- (7 DVDs in set). Lousy English subtitle translation on the Chinese DVD. There is a Russian DVD with English subtitles, but very expensive, unless you consider it is a 7 disc set.

"Звезда" 2002 (Russian) (Zvezda = Star) Russian subtitles on the Chinese DVD, but hard to follow plot if you don't know Russian. Russian DVD has good English subtitles. I only recommend the Russian DVD. - Squad behind German lines on reconnaissance mission. Good PPSh-41 and PPS-43 scenes, especially at the end.

"Rukajärven tie" 1999 (Finnish) (Rukajärven tie = Rukajärven Road, English title = Ambush) English subtitles available, loosely based on true story- A Finnish bicycle unit fighting the Russians in Russian Karelia near the Finnish border.

"Pork Chop Hill" 1959 (American) In the last days of the Korean War, a company of American soldiers are sent to recapture Pork Chop Hill from a larger Communist Chinese Army force. I haven't looked at this movie lately, but I believe there are only about two scenes showing the PPSh.
